Today's freeware is another classic by NoSleep Software, FileZ.
FileZ is pretty much the best file manager out there for the Palm OS, and it's free! It has everything you'd expect from a regular file manager, with much, much more. You can do the basic stuff like copying and moving files from card to RAM an vice versa, deleting files, beaming and sending files via IR or bluetooth, and even renaming file and editing file attributes. You can even sort and filter the file through various different ways like by date or size. The user interface is simplistic and easy to use.
The things that keep this program above all others are the advanced features include
One feature I find very useful is the ability to edit, delete and export both your saved and unsaved preferences. Another useful feature are all the system information FileZ provides, such as the RAM used, card memory used, current battery, sync information, and warnings about potential problems with the contents of the files/folders (illegal file names, etc.). You can also export your file list to a memo for the Memopad program. Lastly, FileZ is fully compatible with with pretty much all Palm handhelds and resolutions, with 5-way navigator support.
I definately recommend you try out this Palm OS gem of a software. PalmAddicts did a spotlight article you can read here. For more information and to download it, check it out here.
