Today's freeware lets you download webpages to your Palm for viewing later. I'm talking about AvantGo.

AvantGo is a 2-part service. The first part is online, where you configure your free AvantGo account and add channels, from thousands of choices. There's everything from news channels to astrology channels, to weather. You can even create you own custom channels from any websites. Now, with the latest version of AvantGo, you can add RSS feeds.

The second part is the Palm software application. Just install it, set it up annd you ready to go. After each hotsync, your selected channels are downloaded to your device for offline viewing. Depending on the number of channels, this program could take upwards to 1MB or higher. The quality of the webpages, however, is pretty good. And if your Palm happens to have a wired or wireless connection, you can even use AvantGo as a web browser.
