Freeware of the day...... Day 19

Today's freeware of the day is a replacement launcher and file manager for your Palm, I'm talking about iSpin Lite v1.7.

If your not satisfied anymore with the standard Palm launcher, maybe you should look at a replacement launcher like iSpin. There are many other launchers out there, and some are perhaps better choices, but for a free option, iSpin is in a class of it's own. I know of no other launcher with as much to offer that is also free!

iSpin Lite is not as powerful as the pay version, but even so, it has many useful features that make it worth a look. The interface of iSpin is very familiar to Windows PC users, although the interface can be "skinned" to change it's appearance almost completely. There are also many Windows like functions as one might expect. Multiple windows can be opened at once, and individually minimized down to the taskbar. You can tap and hold on files, allowing you to directly manipulate the file from a context sensitive menu, or tap and drag to move a file into a directory, even down into a separate directory in a window you've minimized to the taskbar. iSpin will also show you JPG images on your expansion memory card using a thumbnail view, very handy.
