Freeware of the day...... Day 17

Today's freeware is a cool toy for your Palm device, it's The Matrix Screensaver 2.00.

Inspired by the cult-favourite movie The Matrix, The Matrix Screensaver is one of the coolest looking screensavers I have ever seen. The ever-changing green glyphs falling down look exactly as you would expect, the behaviour of the computer screens we saw in the movie are emulated flawlessly . It really looks like your Palm is a window to the matrix code all around you, very spooky.

The Matrix Screensaver is included with an application called the Screensaver Manager that allows you to configure the screensavers installed on your device from Handy Entertainment. Many settings can be changed to control how the screensaver will look and how it's activated to suit your desires.

Okay, so it's not as useful as say TCPMP, or PalmPDF, but come on, who doesn't like a little eye now and again? Check out The Matrix Screensaver 2.00.
